What each plant makes
Huan Yin Packaging Group operates four manufacturing companies in Xiamen, China. Each one runs a different process, which is why a single brief can cover a whole pack instead of only the outer box.

Four suppliers become one purchase order.
A product that needs a printed box, a shipping carton and a foam insert usually means three vendors, three lead times, three sample rounds and three shipments. Splitting the pack across suppliers also splits responsibility: when a unit arrives damaged, no one owns the failure.
- One brief, one drawing set. Tray, insert and carton are dimensioned against each other before tooling, not after the first shipment fails.
- One shipment. Parts made in different plants are consolidated into a single booking, so freight is shared rather than paid four times.
- One point of contact. A dimensional problem between the tray and the carton is settled inside the group, not between two vendors who each blame the other.
- One quality standard. The same drawing, the same tolerance sheet and the same inspection level apply to every part of the pack.
Standard MOQ, published
Standard MOQ is 1,000 pieces per size and style for offset-printed boxes, rigid boxes and paper bags, and 500 for flexo-printed shipping cartons. Thermoformed trays and EPE foam inserts are quoted with the box order they protect. Smaller runs are quoted case by case. If you need several types of packaging for the same product, our four plants consolidate them into one shipment so the freight is shared.
The reason MOQ exists at all is freight, not the press. Packaging is high volume and low value, so on a small LCL booking the minimum chargeable volume and the fixed per-shipment charges land on very few units. The landed cost stops making sense long before the factory runs out of capacity.

Certificates sit with the plant that earned them and are not shared across the group. The list below is what is on file.

- UN dangerous goods. Both the printing plant and the corrugated plant hold the production certificate, so a lithium battery program can use UN-marked printed boxes and UN-marked shipping cartons from the same group.
- FSC. FSC-certified board is available on request on the paper lines. It is a configuration you specify, not a default on every order.
- Transit testing. We have in-house compression and burst testing and design to ISTA 3A and carrier parcel profiles. We do not issue certificates. You get our test data to use with your own lab if your channel requires certification.
From drawing to booking
1. Send the product
Dimensions, weight, quantity, destination and how it ships. A photo of the product or the current pack is usually faster than a specification.
2. Structure and dieline
We return a structural proposal and a dieline. Structural design is done in house, so the tray, insert and carton are drawn against one another.
3. Sample for approval
We send a sample for your approval. Samples travel one way: we ship out, you confirm by email. Overseas buyers do not ship physical samples back.
- Incoterms
- EXW preferred. FOB and DDP are both quoted on request.
- Freight estimates
- Cartons ship flat, so the shipped volume can only be estimated before production. Any quote that includes freight carries that uncertainty, and we say so rather than quoting a number we cannot hold.
- Repeat orders
- Tooling, dielines and approved samples are kept on file. Repeat runs skip the tooling and sampling steps, which shortens both cost and lead time.
- Artwork
- Print content is fully customer supplied. See artwork requirements for file formats and the dieline layer.
FAQ
Can I order from only one of the four plants?
Yes. Each plant sells on its own. The consolidation advantage applies when a product needs more than one type of packaging, and it is an option rather than a condition.
Do you make the board and the film yourselves?
The corrugated plant runs its own board line for the common flutes. Other flutes and specialty grades are purchased board. Thermoforming film and EPE resin are purchased to specification.
Can you match a Pantone colour?
Yes, on the offset lines. Pantone spot colour is a choice you make, not a default. Many brand palettes are reproduced in CMYK, which is cheaper and often closer than buyers expect. Colour is held in production with an X-Rite colour management system and the presses are calibrated to G7.
Who owns the tooling?
Dielines and thermoforming tools made for your product are kept for your repeat orders. Tooling cost is quoted as a separate one-time line so you can see it rather than have it buried in the unit price.
Send the product, not just the box size.
Dimensions, weight, annual quantity and destination are enough to get a structural proposal and a real number back.
