Four packaging factories under one owner.
The color printing plant was founded in 2003. Corrugated was added in 2017, thermoforming in 2019 and EPE foam in 2024. A pack that needs all four is quoted once, scheduled once and shipped once, instead of being chased across four suppliers.

The parts of a pack fail at the joints, not in the middle.
Each part is fine on its own. What goes wrong is the fit between them, and it shows up on the packing line rather than in the sample.
Specifying the parts together removes that class of problem. One set of dimensions goes to all four lines, a revision propagates once, and the parts are checked against each other before any tooling is cut.
- The tray fits the product but not the carton
Thermoforming and carton design were quoted by two suppliers working from two drawings, and the flange was never checked against the inside dimension of the box.
- The mailer was sized before the depth changed
The product grew by 6 mm late in development. The retail box was updated, the shipper was not, and the case count no longer fits the pallet.
- The foam was cut to a superseded drawing
Tooling was made from revision B while the box was already at revision C. The foam holds the product, but it will not sit flat inside the carton.
Several kinds of packaging, one shipment.
Packaging is low in value and high in volume, so freight decides whether a small order is worth placing at all. When a product needs a printed box, a shipping carton, a tray and cushioning, the four plants build them to the same schedule and load them on one bill of lading, and the freight is shared across the whole pack instead of falling on each part.
A reorder skips the die and the sampling round, so it costs less and reaches you sooner than the first run.

Color and structure are held on the floor.
Repeatability is a measurement problem, not a question of care. A run is measured against the approved target while it is still on the press, the board is corrugated in our own plant rather than bought in, and a reorder is matched back to the sample and the die from the first one.

The lane, the shelf and the regulation decide the specification more than the product does.

Cells and packs move as dangerous goods. The color printing plant and the corrugated plant are both UN-certified production facilities for dangerous goods export packaging, and the ESD trays and anti-static foam come off the other two lines.
