Battery & Electronics Packaging Solutions

Huan Yin Packaging Group builds complete packaging systems for lithium batteries and electronics: ESD-safe thermoformed trays, UN-marked corrugated cartons from UN-certified plants, anti-static EPE foam, and retail-grade printed boxes. The tray, the shipper, and the cushioning are engineered together by one supplier and backed by in-house compression and burst testing.

UN Dangerous Goods Packaging for Lithium Batteries

Two plants in the group are UN-certified production facilities for dangerous goods export packaging, covering both printed boxes and corrugated shipping cartons. We supply UN-marked 4G and 4GV fiberboard boxes for lithium-ion shipments under UN 3480 and UN 3481 and the IMDG and IATA packing instructions (PI 965 to 967).

The split of responsibility is simple. You certify your cells or packs to UN38.3. We manufacture the UN-specification packaging, marked and documented for your transport mode. Holding the production certificate at both the printed-box plant and the corrugated plant means a retail carton and its dangerous-goods shipper can come from one group, built to the same dimensions and tested as one pack.

ESD Protection Specified by Resistance, Not Color

We specify ESD packaging by surface resistance band: conductive at 10³ to 10⁵ ohms, dissipative at 10⁶ to 10⁹, and anti-static at 10⁹ to 10¹¹. Pink or black material alone proves nothing. Each ESD lot can ship with a surface resistance report, so your incoming inspection has numbers instead of colors.

The make-up of the material matters as much as the band. Compounded (additive-in-resin) trays hold their rating for the service life of a returnable tray. Coated materials are cheaper and suit one-way packaging, but the coating loses effect within months. Tell us whether the tray travels once or loops between your plants, and we quote the construction that still protects on its last trip. Anti-static EPE foam follows the same logic.

Thermoformed Trays for Cells, Modules, and Devices

Bailudao, the group’s thermoforming plant, forms PC sheet for battery trays and conductive PS and PET for cell handling. Material is chosen by heat exposure and mechanical load. If your logistics can put the thermoformed tray in a hot container, we quote PC or PP, never PVC or PS, because warp in transit is a real failure mode.

Before any tooling is cut, we review draw ratio, draft angles, radii, and undercuts against your part, so the tray that arrives matches the tray that was quoted. Tooling cost amortizes over the run; we state it separately in the quote so low-volume programs can see exactly where the money goes.

Retail and E-commerce Packaging for Electronics

For devices that ship to retail shelves or parcel networks, the group prints folding cartons and litho-laminated corrugated boxes with color calibrated to G7 and held in production with an X-Rite color management system. We are a GMI-certified supplier, which matters if your product sells through audited big-box retail programs.

Parcel packs are designed to ISTA 3A, with in-house test data you can use for certification through your own lab if your channel requires it. For master cartons, inner-carton count and dimensions drive the compression spec and the container utilization, so we quote the retail box, the inner tray, and the master shipper as one system rather than three line items.

One Engineered System from Four Plants

Four subsidiary plants make the four parts of an electronics pack: printed boxes, corrugated shippers, thermoformed trays, and EPE foam. Because the parts are engineered together, tolerances match at assembly, and one purchase order covers the whole pack.

The group runs its own test lab for edge crush, burst, and ink rub, so specifications are verified before shipment rather than assumed. Most of this work runs as OEM and ODM programs for leading battery and electronics brands, which is why we show specifications and test data rather than customer names.

FAQ

There is no strict MOQ. What sets the practical floor is setup cost: offset-printed boxes carry plate and cutting-die costs, and thermoformed trays carry mold cost, so small runs price higher per unit. Flexo-printed shipping cartons and EPE foam have no setup of that kind, so quantity there is genuinely open. Send your quantity and we quote it straight.

A new program runs sampling, then tooling (for thermoformed trays), then production. Repeat orders skip the first two stages and run substantially faster. Exact lead times depend on process mix and quantity and are stated on the quote.

Yes, structural design is in-house. Send product dimensions and we return an engineered dieline and a sample for your approval before you commit to tooling or a print run.

We quote whatever Incoterms fit your order. EXW is our preferred baseline; FOB and DDP are also accepted. One honest caveat on freight-inclusive terms: corrugated boxes ship flat-packed, so shipment volume is estimated before production and actual freight can deviate from the first estimate. For lithium-related shipments, we supply the UN-marked packaging and its documentation; the dangerous goods declaration for the shipped goods stays with the shipper of record.

Five things: tray tooling, material grade (conductive costs more than anti-static), UN marking requirements, print and finishing on the retail box, and volume. A quote from us itemizes them so you can trade off deliberately.
